Cells do not need a lot of food, but a tiny bit, and that would ensure the overall health of the entire organism. Contrast this with the Venture Capitalist idea of providing a lot of money to a chosen few to trigger a hyper exponential growth. Perhaps they are just feeding the cancer cells in the society that does not care about the overall health of the entire living organism.
