There’s no moment like the moment when your new boss shakes your hand and says “You’re hired!” What if we could relive that moment, again and again, throughout our career?
The research says that confidence is built in an area near the brain stem, where motor skills are built. In other words, confidence is built not through logic and decision, but through practice and unconscious memory.
Basically, confidence comes from taking action and succeeding. Or at least learning from your failure. We can relive the highlights of our career every day, simply by practicing what we’re best at. How great would it be if stand-out moments were an everyday occurrence?
